LocalBusiness schema
LocalBusiness schema describes a physical business or service-area business in JSON-LD. Google requires name and address, recommends properties such as telephone, url, geo and opening hours, and asks you to use the most specific subtype available (for example Dentist or Plumber). Google says business details can appear in a knowledge panel when people search for the business.
What does LocalBusiness markup do?
Google says that when users search for businesses on Search or Maps, results may show a knowledge panel with business details, and LocalBusiness markup can tell Google about hours, departments and more.[1] Officially documented Your Business Profile remains the main source for local results; markup supports it (Google Business Profile).
